Filed under: General — admin @ 12:08 pm

You try to charge it many times, but not work, that means your laptop battery cant charge. Why your laptop battery cant charge, it is caused by your laptop or your laptop battery or your AC adapter?

First : Try cleaning the contacts metal on the battery. Ensure that your notebook’s power adapter
connect the power, another paragraph has been connected with the notebook, and if the problem is not resolved. Would suggest that you remove the battery power adapter only through your computer.

If you can not restart the computer, it should be a problem with power adapter, I suggest you replace the adapter.

Also if your battery is very hot when charging, it maybe cant charge. You’d better take the battery out of laptop. After 1 hours, the battery temperature lower, then installed the battery to the laptop and charging.

There will be a large voltage electricity when charging the battery and plug in/out battery. The interface client often spark. In that time it is very easy to break the battery and mainborad. Generally the laptop battery cant charge after too many plug in/out times. So you should turn off your laptop when plug in/out battery.

The laptop battery also have a automatic battery protection CMOS chip to prevent over-discharge and other wrong operation. Some times the CMOS chip will automatically start the automatic protection and lock the battery to forbid charging. So you must store your battery in a cool dry area for about 3-5 days to unlock the battery. If it is cant work you must send your battery to repair center or change a new laptop battery.

Usually you must calibrate your battery every two months. You will find some useful info about How to calibrate your laotop battery here.

Hyundai Genesis is canada car of the year

Filed under: General — admin @ 1:40 pm

There is a new king this year and it’s the brand new Hyundai Genesis.  That right the new Hyundai Genesis is the best car of the year in Canada.  Every year car enthusiasts and automotive journalists head over to local car premiers and conventions where all the renown automakers release their precious babies for the masses to gawk at and do the “ooh-ah” over and over, it’s like taking a kid to the candy store, but this 2009 is unlike any other.

I won’t leave you in suspense any longer but surely in utter shock, the mystery automaker is none other than the Korean automaker itself, Hyundai. That’s right, Hyundai fiercely joins the Luxury Sedan business this 2009 via the release of the Genesis; its first 8-cylinder rear-drive luxury sedan. So for 2009 proud Hyundai dealerships eagerly await to represent the Genesis this upcoming summer.

Interestingly enough the Hyundai Genesis is a synonym for “beginning” which in this case is totally appropriate and entirely suggestive that this is merely the beginning for luxury sedans from Hyundai, the world is eager to find out what Korean engineers can offer so let’s take a look at what the Genesis promises.

iPod Nano – A Short Overview

Filed under: General — admin @ 11:37 am

iPod Nano is another ingenious musical gadget true to the standards set by Apple Inc. Among its additional features are the Cover Flow, enhanced video capabilities, and a wider screen for easier viewing.

With it’s 3:4 width by length ratio and with the way it fits in your palm as if it belongs there, the design of this new technology no doubt seamlessly combines aesthetics and functionality. It height allows you to fit the iPod Nano in your pocket without causing discomfort. Compared to the generation-one Nano, it is less taller and therefore does not have the tendency to snap in half.

The iPod Nano is the only one in the iPod series that has contour-shaped face over a rounded back. All the ports could be found at the bottom and the generation-two’s plastic caps have been eliminated. It is a tough piece of gadget at an affordable price, making it an ideal companion for travels and outdoor trips.

The 2-inch screen of the iPod Nano features a 320 by 240 pixel count and is about 60% brighter than the previous iPod generation. Compared to the iPhone, images are more pronounced with the Nano because of the pixel density. The LCD is also well-protected from surface scratches as it is recessed by a fraction of an inch from the Nano’s metal face.

The case colors tend to be more professional-looking than those of the last generation. For the more adventurous ones, the slate gray and red could add a touch of excitement to your iPod Nano.

How to Keep a New Year’s Resolution

Filed under: General — admin @ 9:57 am

At the beginning of each year, you probably make a list of things that you want to do or change about yourself or what is popularly known as New Year’s resolutions.

However, many, if not all, of your promises are also broken every year because you cannot keep what you have promised for yourself such as shedding those extra pounds you have gained over the holidays or doing something new which you haven’t tried before because you are too chicken to do it or saving some money.

Whatever they are, they just remain as lists written on a piece of paper and never got the chance to be realized. If you want some tips on how to keep a New Year’s resolution, here is a list that you should consider.

Set goals for yourself that are attainable and realistic. If you weigh 150 pounds and you want to lose weight, do not be too hard on yourself by declaring “I will shed 75 pound by the end of January.” That’s impossible. Make it more realistic such as 3 pounds each month or something. You can aim big but cut yourself some slack by giving yourself ample time to achieve that goal.

Prioritize your goals. Finish the most important goals first and just concentrate later on the least pressing issues. This way, you will not feel too pressured. Just do your resolutions one at a time and you will be surprised at how much you can achieve.

Do not keep your resolutions private. Announce your list to your friends and family members so that they can remind you constantly and encourage you if you are on the verge of breaking your promises.

After you have achieved one goal, even the simplest one, make sure to pat yourself on the back for a job well done. It means you should give yourself reward so that you will feel motivated to keep on doing the rest of your New Year’s resolutions.

Tips on Clearing Credit Card Debt

Filed under: General — admin @ 11:29 am

While credit cards provide you the ease of cashless shopping, these can also lead you to indulgent spending and mounting debt. It’s so easy to just swipe away and immediately get the things you want. Yet, you are actually incurring debt – spending on what you cannot afford yet.

Before you know it, your credit cards are maxed out. The card’s interest rates have multiplied your debt to “I want to cry!” heights. When the numbers add up, you might just end up feeling some despair. Who would have thought it ‘d add up to so much, right?

Needless to say, you should take steps in cutting your credit card spending, and start paying off your debt. Here are some tips:

Cut your cards in half: Yes, cut it so you won’t be able to use it. Credit cards represent a temptation to spend. Even when you don’t have the money yet, you can always shrug it off and charge on your card. That only increases your debt. The best way to control debt is to not have access to the means by which you incur debt.

Live economically: Increasing credit card expenses will lead to increasing monthly credit card bills. This takes away money for rent, food, car, clothes, etc. If you live economically and become conscientious about your spending, you can make your monthly payments, as well as cut off on credit card spending. Steer clear from unnecessary spending. Have a practical budget and then stick to it. Refrain from habits that may make you spend more. If you are an impulse buyer, don’t window-shop. You might just end up using your credit card on items you only use once.
